Stretch marks can make you feel
uncomfortable about your
appearance. Stretch marks can occur during
sudden changes in body size, such as during
pregnancy, puberty, or rapid weight-gain.
If you're battling with Such, Fear not.. Help
has come.. Here are some things you can do
to prevent stretch marks, as well as get rid of
the appearance of new ones.
1. Apply Potato Juice.
Cut a medium-sized potato into thick slices.
Take one of the potato pieces and rub it
gently on the stretch marks for a few
minutes. Make sure the starch from the
potato covers the affected area.
Allow the potato juice to dry for some time
and then wash it off with lukewarm water.
2. Make sure you're eating a nutrient based
diet. You want to make sure that your skin is
getting the proper nutrition so that it can
repair and stay healthy.
3. Apply Castor Oil.
Apply some castor oil to the stretch marks
and gently massage the area in circular
motions for 5 to 10 minutes.
Wrap the area with a thin, cotton cloth.
Using a hot water bottle or a heating pad,
apply some heat to the affected area for at
least half an hour.
Repeat this process daily for a minimum of
one month to notice positive results.
4. Apply Egg Whites
Eggs are rich in protein. For stretch marks,
you should use only the egg whites, which
contain amino acids and proteins.
Whip the whites of two eggs gently with a
fork. Clean the affected skin area with water
and then apply a thick layer of egg whites
with a brush. (Preferably makeup
brush) Allow the egg whites to dry
completely and then rinse the area with cold
water. Then, apply some olive oil on the skin
to keep it moisturized.
Repeat the process daily for at least two
weeks and watch for fantastic results.
5. Apply Lemon Juice
Rub fresh lemon juice gently onto the stretch
marks using circular motions. Allow the
lemon juice to soak into your skin for at least
10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm
water.
6. Apply Natural White Sugar
This is unarguably one of the best natural
remedies to get rid of stretch marks.
Mix a tablespoon of raw sugar with some
almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice.
Mix it well and apply it on the stretch marks
and other skin areas.
Gently rub the mixture on the skin for a few
minutes every day before taking a
shower. Do this for a month or thereabout,
and your stretch marks will become lighter.
7. Apply Aloe Vera.
Directly rub aloe vera gel on the affected
skin area, leave it on for 20minutes and then
rinse the skin with lukewarm water.
8. Apply Olive Oil.
It contains a lot of nutrients and antioxidants
that help improve various skin problems
including stretch marks.
Simply massage slightly warm extra-virgin
olive oil into the affected skin area. This will
improve the blood circulation and reduce the
stretch marks to a great extent.
Leave it for half an hour so that the vitamins
A, D and E existing in the oil are absorbed
by the skin.
9. Try to drink one to two glasses of water
several times during a day.
Experts say drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water
per day is the best way to keep the body
hydrated.
When your body is hydrated,your skin is
protected from many kinds of problems and
helps keep the skin soft and restores
elasticity.
10. Try to lose some weight.
When you loose weight, stretch marks seem
reduced.
