Luckily for Nigerian Pilgrims currently in
Mecca, only 3 Nigerians were affected in
yesterday’s disaster that happened in a
Mecca mosque when a crane crashed into
a praying crowd.
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria
disclosed this to journalists but said the
names of the victims will not be made
public. He only gave a clue that two were
from Kaduna and the 3rd is from Gombe
State.
He said the victims are currently
receiving treatment at the holy land.
As of today, it has been said that 103
people died in the accident, while over
200 were wounded.
